"For the eyes of the lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?" -1 peter:3:12-13

Hey, dolls!
Happy Monday, hope all is well?
I have had this corset for a while and it rarely gets worn, so I thought "what the hey" let me try this out. I'm so surprised this outfit came out okay lol. I'm always experimenting with fashion.

'And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.' -Philippians:4:19

Everybody is born with a gift and talent. Gift and talent may seem alike but they are very different. Talent is something you're born with but gift is something that is given to you from God. Most people discover their gift(s) when they're very old and some discover it while they're young. I am amongst the privileged ones to have discovered my gift through my father in the lord. It's amazing how your mindset changes when you find out you have a hidden potential. It grows your confidence and boldness, it makes you to start to question the world and the things around you. Those thoughts that use to scare you no longer have power over you. It draws you closer to your creator, makes you love in love with your person and all of those good things.

Now how does this gift provide for me financially?
I get great joy whenever I create, but my mother use to tell me that creativity doesn't pay the bills hard work does. But times are changing and careers are becoming less complicated. God is providing for me daily because he has given me this divine gift of creativity. It's up to me how I use it. It's my ticket to life and survival, it's definitely not something somebody can take away from me because he has built my being around it. I don't know  how to not be me. The Jael that everyone knows  is a creator, my mom have told me stories of when I was little how I would make things and basically create beauty. I learned how to sew at 5 years old all by myself.... All these things are signs that I'm in the right place.  Whatever money I make now or I'm going to make in the future can not make me more satisfied than I am right now. My gift is my source of income because I can travel anywhere in the world and still be able to use.

My Dad once told me "It's not the school you go to that makes you who you are. Who you are is in you and whatever school you go to is just for training but you know who you are and what you can do." He is a very wise man so of course I held on to his word and look where it's gotten me. I think I'm pretty satisfied.

No amount of money, power, announcement or fame can make me more satisfied than I am now because God is my source of income. If he doesn't provide I don't worry because whatever God can not do I have decided that it should be let undone.

I'm not much of a philosopher or anything of that nature, I'm just a thinker, a really deep thinker. This is the easiest way I can share my thoughts with you all. Thanks for reading if you have a question or suggestion on what my next rant should be about please feel free to email me @simplyjaelicousfashion@gmail.com. I'm always open to suggestions.

" Now is she without, now in the streets, and leith in wait at every corner."-Proverbs:7:12

Hey dolls
How are we all doing?
So I made it through Valentine's day without killing myself, lol I'm only kidding.
But on a serious note it was not eventful, not because I'm single but because I just didn't do anything! But a few days ago I posted a quick makeup routine on instagram and I thought I would share it with y'all.

"For with God nothing shall be impossible."- Luke:1:37

Times change and people change but God remain the same. This year has started off on the right track. Each and everyday people are revealing them true selves to me. They're all throwing punches are at me and it's a miracle I still have the strength to wake up everyday. I'm more thankful to God now more than ever before.  This just makes me realize that people never really cared about me the way I did for them. It makes me understand that God is the only one that's constant with me and I appreciate that more than anything in my life.

On to the look...
I purchased these pants from Aliexpress for christmas and I had to go two sizes up after I read the reviews about it being too small. Even at a large it's still a little neat fitted.

An apple typically has broad shoulders, full breast, round tummy, slim hips, shorter torso, and longer legs. An apple may sometimes lack waist definition.

WHAT TO WEAR
V-neck tops are a "do" for apples because it gives them the opportunity to flaunt what they have. Most apples have fuller breasts which is an advantage.

Bootleg pants are perfect for apples because it offers comfort. Most apple body shape have wide calves which makes it almost impossible if not uncomfortable to fit skinny jeans.

Long jackets or Cardigans are good for apples because it takes the attention away from the problem area which is the fuller stomach.

Wrap dresses with detailing at the torso helps show off your curves without showing too much of your problem areas.

Belted jacket below the waist is good for an apple because it offers comfort and compliments your body shape.
